Job Summary

Lead end-to-end user research for WHOOP’s Healthcare Product team, shaping how healthcare experiences are designed for members. Plan and run qualitative and quantitative studies, translate complex healthcare questions into research programs, and synthesize findings into actionable insights and roadmaps. Partner with Product, Design, Clinical, Regulatory, Data Science, and Engineering to drive alignment and decision-making, and help strengthen research practices across WHOOP.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead end-to-end user research across the product development lifecycle, from opportunity identification and study design through analysis, synthesis, and recommendations.
•Translate business, product, and healthcare questions into actionable research plans using qualitative and quantitative methods.
•Partner with Product, Design, Data Science, Clinical, Regulatory, and Engineering teams to inform product strategy and deliver member-centered healthcare experiences.
•Synthesize research findings into compelling insights, frameworks, and narratives that drive alignment and strategic decisions.
•Plan and manage multiple concurrent research initiatives and facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to deliver actionable roadmaps and outcomes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 90,000 - 130,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, Sociology, User Experience Research, or a related field.
•5+ years conducting user research in product, healthcare, technology, or other customer-focused environments.
•Expertise in generative and evaluative research methods, selecting the right approach for the problem space.
•Experience facilitating workshops and synthesis sessions that enable cross-functional alignment and action from research findings.
•Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex research initiatives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
