Job Summary

Lead and accelerate Lean transformation across site operations by embedding Lean principles, disciplines, and tools into daily business practices. Conduct value stream analyses, identify improvement opportunities, and create future-state visions to improve flow, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost. Plan and execute Lean improvement events (Kaizen, Blitz, RIEs, JDI), coach Team Leaders and supervisors through daily engagement and Gemba walks, and help sustain gains in partnership with site leadership.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct value stream analyses to evaluate operational performance, identify inefficiencies, and define future-state visions to improve flow and business results.
•Review procedures, workflows, and controls to identify barriers and create actionable plans that support successful change implementation.
•Lead Lean improvement events (Kaizen, Blitz, RIEs, JDI) focused on eliminating waste and improving productivity, quality, delivery, and cost.
•Train, coach, and support Team Leaders, Supervisors, and Management through daily engagement, team meetings, and Gemba walks to reinforce Lean problem-solving behaviors.
•Promote Lean concepts (flow, pull/on-demand production, zero defects, standardized work, visual management) and partner with site leadership to sustain improvement initiatives; serve as backup to the Sr. Value Stream Coach when needed.

Key Requirements

•Minimum of 5 years of experience in Lean manufacturing, operational excellence, or continuous improvement, with success training and developing others in Lean tools and methodologies.
•Demonstrated success facilitating at least 30 Kaizen or Blitz events using a structured methodology, delivering measurable operational and financial improvements.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills across all organization levels, from frontline team members to senior leadership.
•Demonstrated leadership capability to energize, motivate, and influence teams as a credible change agent.
•Associate or Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, and manufacturing engineering or a related field (equivalent education/training and relevant experience considered).
