Job Summary

Lead day-to-day production execution for an animated feature, ensuring your assigned department stays on schedule and budget. Supervise production processes, floor schedules, milestone tracking, and progress reporting, while coordinating across creative, technical, and production teams. Manage Production Coordinators and Assistants, oversee review sessions, ensure accurate ETC/statuses and timesheets, and proactively flag risks to Production leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise production processes, schedules, reporting, reviews, and cross-department coordination for the assigned department.
•Build and maintain detailed floor schedules, assigning tasks in collaboration with Craft Supervisors, Leads, and Coordinators.
•Track progress in production tracking systems to ensure accurate statuses, ETCs, and reporting; monitor performance against targets and adjust plans as needed.
•Produce regular progress reports and communicate variances to Production leadership; coordinate review sessions end-to-end (scheduling, preparation, note-taking, follow-up).
•Manage Production Coordinators and Assistants, ensuring timesheet accuracy and approvals, coordinating overtime with appropriate approval, and fostering a positive team environment.

Key Requirements

•Previous experience as a Production Supervisor in the feature animation industry and/or at least 3+ years as a Production Coordinator on CG feature films or related experience.
•Extensive knowledge of the 3D animation pipeline from assets through lighting and compositing.
•Proficiency with asset and shot tracking software, with Autodesk Flow Production Tracking strongly preferred.
•Advanced scheduling, tracking, and reporting skills, including the ability to analyze production data and forecast performance.
•Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills with strong written and verbal communication and leadership.
