Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Safely operate a roll-off truck to deliver, exchange, and pick up containers and/or scrap boxes.
  • •Secure and tarp loads in compliance with DOT regulations and transport loads safely and on time while obeying all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver trucks and trailers into loading/unloading areas and assist with loading/unloading using specialized equipment when warranted.
  • •Maintain shipping paperwork (invoices, shipping bills of lading), perform routine service checks (oil/water/gasoline/air), report maintenance issues, and arrange trailers in shipping yards.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle operated.
