Key Responsibilities

  • •Full-stack development and code reviews in React/Node; lead meetings and partner with engineers to solve problems
  • •Design, estimate and review software services; ensure security, reliability and scalability
  • •Collaborate with product, design and growth to conceptualize, design, test and deploy new features
  • •Identify and implement improvements to the software development lifecycle and processes
  • •Mentor junior engineers and stay current with new technologies to inform solutions

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of direct industry experience or a MS in CS or related field + 1 year industry experience
  • •Hands on experience with running modern web stacks (Node.js, Typescript, React, Postgres, GraphQL, Redis, Kafka)
  • •Solid CS foundation and coding skills; ability to write high-performance production quality code; experience with Java or C/C++
  • •Well-versed in modern cloud platforms, like AWS, and their associated technologies
  • •Experience with Agile software development and Jira; strong communication and mentoring abilities
