Job Summary

Seeking a Packaging Engineer to optimize movement, storage, and supply of materials in a fast-paced logistics environment. You’ll lead packaging studies, develop standards, and drive continuous improvement across operations, coordinating with engineering and SAP-based systems. The role involves data-driven benchmarking, time study analyses, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency in automotive logistics.

Key Responsibilities

•Research and facilitate improvements to operations and material groups by providing data and tools to increase productivity and efficiency.
•Lead and support packaging and continuous improvement initiatives, including packaging studies, development of packaging standards, and enhancements to existing packaging.
•Provide weekly Packaging Inventory updates and recommendations based on usage.
•Review and update Packaging Instructions in in-house systems and SAP.
•Coordinate, monitor, and analyze material flow based on schedules.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Engineering or related field (experience may be considered in lieu of education)
•Background in Logistics, Engineering, or Packaging with strong customer service, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities
•Experience in documentation of processes, process changes, and gathering project-specific requirements
•Fluent English and Czech language skills
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, SAP (AOS) systems; MTM analysis preferred; knowledge of Lean tools (VSM, CI, Kaizen, 6 Sigma)
