Key Responsibilities

  • •Support Korean tax filings and compliance activities, including VAT, corporate income tax, local tax, CBCR, BEPS, and other statutory reporting.
  • •Assist with Korean tax matters in partnership with the Global Tax team and support communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • •Coordinate tax reporting schedules and prepare supporting documentation for tax audits and compliance reviews.
  • •Support statutory audit activities and maintain documentation related to SOX/internal control requirements.
  • •Prepare and maintain documentation for customs duty filing, intercompany transactions, treasury activities, cash forecasts, and banking-related communications.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
  • •5+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance, including at least 2 years of tax experience.
  • •Experience with Korean tax compliance, statutory audits, SOX/internal controls, customs duty filing, and related reporting requirements.
  • •Strong English communication skills with the ability to work effectively with local, APAC, and global stakeholders.
  • •Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP, with strong analytical skills and comfort working with detailed financial data.
