Job Summary

Perform financial-based analysis and underwriting of the bank’s largest and most complex loans or relationships across a region or industry. Generate and review financial spreads in nCino, build cash flow and real estate project analysis spreadsheets, and prepare credit memos and annual reviews. Lead loan committee support as directed, oversee and mentor Analyst I/II work, and ensure required BSA/AML and compliance training is completed.

Key Responsibilities

•Generate or oversee financial spreads within the bank lending operating system (nCino) using financial statements to identify and review trends.
•Create spreadsheets to quantify borrowers’ personal, global, and real estate cash flows and project analysis on an accurate and timely basis.
•Prepare credit memos and annual reviews in accordance with department procedures.
•Attend loan committee meetings when directed by management and create guidance for related work as needed.
•Mentor Analyst I/II and provide oversight of work product for accuracy and timeliness; act as backup to the Regional Manager or other CA leader as directed.

Key Requirements

•Equivalent to a four-year college degree plus 7 years of related experience and/or training, and 4 years of related management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Broad knowledge of accounting, marketing, business administration, and finance to support credit analysis and underwriting.
•Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedure manuals, and effectively present information to managers and clients.
•Ability to work with probability, statistical inference, and fundamentals of algebra and geometry to support credit decisions.
•Advanced proficiency in 10-Key, accounting, spreadsheet, and word processing/typing; intermediate alphanumeric data entry; basic experience with presentation/PowerPoint and human resources systems.
