Key Responsibilities

  • •Project management of multidisciplinary teams and the engagement of AECOM’s operations/finance teams including client management, contract management, planning and execution and financial management of dam engineering projects.
  • •Provide senior technical support for projects including seepage and slope stability analyses, filter and drain design, Potential Failure Mode Analyses (participate and/or facilitate), Semi-Quantitative Risk Assessments, site inspection, construction observation, and regulatory compliance activities associated with a variety of hydraulic structures.
  • •Prepare and perform quality reviews of other Engineer's work on deliverables such design calculations, engineering reports, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
  • •Perform engineering estimates for cost and project schedules.
  • •Responsible for quality control and serve as Lead Verifier following AECOM Quality Control policies and procedures.

Salary: USD 150,000 - 180,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with demonstrated coursework in Geotechnical Engineering+ 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • •Licensed as a Professional Engineer in at least one state with the ability to successfully apply for reciprocity in additional states
  • •Relevant experience with dams projects, including rehabilitation and/or new design and construction
  • •Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
  • •Experience in geotechnical engineering software programs such as GeoStudio and gINT
