Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee all piping construction activities executed by EPC and PCC contractors, ensuring health and safety, quality, constructability, and readiness.
  • •Coordinate piping erection activities including setting, welding, testing, pre-commissioning, turnover to mechanical completion, and client handover.
  • •Lead “build it tight” and “build it clean” standards and coordinate interfaces with EPC piping discipline leads, off-site fabrication, NDE, and painting providers.
  • •Ensure compliance with client and project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements, and maintain EPC reporting accuracy.
  • •Support planning and progress reporting, participate in walkdowns and punch list management, ensure handover dossiers are complete, and coordinate resolution of technical queries, deviations, and change requests.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •HNC or higher in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline) is preferred, with consideration for time-served equivalent experience.
  • •Demonstrable experience on large-scale EPC projects overseeing/manage piping installation including supports, painting, insulation, carbon and alloy steels, GRE, heavy wall, and high pressures.
  • •Experience with piping execution activities such as bolt tightening, flushing, air-blowing, drying, preservation, punch out, walkdown, turnover, and handover.
  • •Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
  • •Ability to oversee construction planning and execution while maintaining safety and quality standards.
