Job Summary

Serve as a senior, client-facing cost management and quantity surveying lead for major construction projects in Atlanta. Own cost planning and estimating from planning and design through construction and closeout, including change orders, valuations, cost variance analysis, and value engineering sessions. Collaborate with design teams, contractors, owners, and project managers to maintain accurate cost data and deliver monthly cost reporting, funding presentations, and timely account finalization while supporting team leadership and internal cost-control systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a key client contact delivering high-quality cost management services across the project lifecycle, from planning and design through construction and closeout.
•Provide estimate and cost planning services, including producing and presenting final cost plans, and updating cost estimates with project status information.
•Estimate, negotiate, and manage change orders throughout construction; reconcile changes and support accurate cost data and change control processes.
•Conduct quantity surveying, cost control, valuations, cost auditing, and post-contract cost variance analysis on complex projects.
•Prepare written executive summaries and monthly cost reports; support funding presentations and coordinate value engineering sessions with stakeholders, while mentoring team members.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related construction field.
•Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in a cost management role within the construction industry.
•RICS accreditation, or progress toward accreditation, is preferred.
•Experience leading cost management activities on medium to large-scale construction projects of moderate to high complexity.
•Strong understanding of construction industry technical matters, including procurement routes, value management, and value engineering; excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
