Job Summary

Lead a team of Process Engineers operating a state-of-the-art laboratory grown diamond manufacturing site in Gresham, Oregon. Drive yield improvements through Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence, and manage the qualification and implementation of new production processes. Partner with Equipment Engineering, Production, Maintenance, and Supply Chain, help deliver site KPIs, and participate in OEE to troubleshoot issues, solve problems, and deliver long-term process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•Create a Zero Harm health and safety mindset and oversee the site safety program, including training, reporting, and corrective actions.
•Lead and manage a team of Process Engineers to develop and implement production processes using Lean, Six Sigma, and Operational Excellence.
•Manage qualification and implementation of new production processes, and drive continuous improvement across the team.
•Serve as a key member of the site leadership team to ensure Process Engineering KPI delivery against site targets and objectives.
•Participate in the OEE team to report issues, solve problems, utilize production and quality data, and lead long-term process improvement projects.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field.
•5+ years of work experience in the job offered or a closely related occupation.
•Expertise in Chemical Vapor Deposition process knowledge.
•Experience with manufacturing techniques for processing superhard materials.
•Ability to use production and quality data to drive decision-making and lead site-critical projects for new product introductions or capital projects.
