Job Summary

Lead the Quality Control function at a large multinational food manufacturer, ensuring Kerry’s global food safety, quality and regulatory standards are met. Manage laboratory operations, coordinate with Operations/R&D/Supply Chain, drive risk-based investigations, CAPA and continuous improvement, and oversee NPI transfers to manufacturing to safeguard product integrity.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and develop the Quality Control team, ensuring efficient laboratory operations, timely testing, and product release activities.
•Manage production laboratories, including laboratory resources, equipment, calibration programs, and consumables to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
•Partner with Operations, R&D, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to deliver high levels of internal customer service and support business objectives.
•Support and oversee prerequisite programs, including GMP, sanitation, environmental monitoring, and pest control programs.
•Implement, maintain, and continuously improve food safety and quality management systems in alignment with Kerry global standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
•Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience within Quality Assurance or Quality Control in the food manufacturing industry.
•Strong knowledge of food safety systems, quality management principles, and regulatory requirements.
•Hands-on experience with HACCP, risk assessments, prerequisite programs, and food safety investigations.
•Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and drive accountability across functions.
