Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership to support development and implementation of plant environmental, health, and safety compliance programs.
  • •Analyze, prepare, and submit environmental reports and regulatory compliance notifications.
  • •Manage EHS recordkeeping and programs required for regulatory compliance.
  • •Manage injury and near-miss incidents, including injury/illness reporting, investigations, and learnings.
  • •Ensure plant employees are trained on permits and company EHS procedures and policies, and promote safe work practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 6 years of experience providing oversight of environmental and safety compliance at power plants or other industrial locations.
  • •Familiarity with EPA, state and Federal OSHA, or MSHA regulations.
  • •Experience applying college degree programs and/or certifications toward environmental and safety compliance oversight skills.
  • •Strong organizational skills to manage multiple activities at one time.
  • •Strong written and oral communication skills, including procedures development and implementation.
