Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and set up woodworking machinery, including the 24" horizontal timber re-saw, 24" four-sided planer, straight line hardwood rip saw, and Newman hardwood planer.
  • •Read and interpret tape measures accurately to meet order specifications.
  • •Inspect outbound orders to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
  • •Perform routine equipment checks, maintain machinery, and report maintenance or repair needs to the Mill Manager.
  • •Assist with training and coaching other team members on resaw and planer operations while maintaining workplace safety.
