Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop hands-on expertise in InfluxDB and the wider platform, including APIs, client libraries, and integrations (e.g., Telegraf, Grafana, MQTT, industrial protocols).
  • •Partner with senior Sales Engineers on opportunities by building demos, proof-of-concept environments, and sample integrations/scripts.
  • •Provide responsive technical coverage across the sales team by answering product questions, running standard demos, and unblocking opportunities.
  • •Contribute to RFx responses and support prospect Q&A/workshop sessions.
  • •Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Support teams and write content for blogs, community forums, and sample-code repositories.

Key Requirements

  • •A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related discipline, or equivalent technical ability.
  • •Comfort writing code in at least one of Python, Go, JavaScript/Node.js, or Java to build examples, integrations, and small tools.
  • •Familiarity with Linux fundamentals and the command line.
  • •Some exposure to working with data (SQL, NoSQL, CSVs, scripts, or data coursework).
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication—able to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
