Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide timely lab support to faculty, staff, and students, including setting up labs for experiments.
  • •Maintain preventative maintenance schedules, equipment manuals, and maintenance logs; observe and reinforce lab safety and housekeeping procedures.
  • •Track borrowed equipment and tools; manage inventory levels for consumable materials and supplies.
  • •Receive, install, and maintain lab equipment and supplies, assist with ordering, and interact with suppliers about purchases.
  • •Provide teaching assistance during laboratory sessions, support development/maintenance of teaching materials, and assist with student project design and execution.

Key Requirements

  • •A Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a relevant discipline is required.
  • •A Master's Degree in a relevant discipline is desirable.
  • •At least 3 years of progressive hands-on experience in hardware and software support is preferred.
  • •Practical experience with PC and OS support troubleshooting and implementation is required.
  • •Experience in a complex networking environment with Cisco equipment is preferred.
