Job Summary

Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and backend services for payment-related projects. Own MongoDB data modeling and query optimization, develop secure REST APIs, and deploy data workloads on cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP/IBM Cloud. Perform performance tuning, code reviews, and automated testing while collaborating with Dev and onshore stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement robust, scalable data pipelines and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
•Lead MongoDB schema/data modeling, optimize queries, and manage indexing for high availability and low latency.
•Develop and maintain secure, high-performance RESTful APIs for data exchange with internal systems and external partners.
•Deploy and manage data workloads on cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, or GCP) using managed services.
•Conduct performance tuning, perform code reviews, and implement automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) to maintain quality.

Key Requirements

•6-8 years of experience in data engineering with hands-on MongoDB, API integration, and cloud infrastructure.
•Expert proficiency in Java and experience with Spring Boot.
•Advanced knowledge of MongoDB concepts including aggregation framework, sharding, replication, and Atlas.
•Strong REST API design experience, including OAuth2 and API gateway management.
•Bachelor's degree in IT/computer-related field (or equivalent experience).
