Job Summary

Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other financial transactions while cashing negotiable items and maintaining accurate teller records. Operate an online teller terminal, balance cash daily, resolve discrepancies, and follow teller procedures and compliance requirements. Build professional relationships by promptly handling client inquiries, protecting customer information, cross-selling bank products and services, and supporting training and coordination with other staff.

•Process teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers between accounts.
•Cash checks and other negotiable instruments; examine documents for endorsements and negotiability.
•Sells traveler’s checks, official checks, and money orders; processes credit card cash advances.
•Maintain daily cash balancing, detect and resolve discrepancies promptly, and follow teller procedures and compliance requirements.
•Provide excellent customer service by resolving inquiries, maintaining privacy of customer information, cross-selling bank products and services, and supporting coordination/training with staff.

Key Requirements

•High school graduate or equivalent.
•At least one year of related experience/cash handling required (previous Teller experience preferred).
•Understanding of bank operations preferred.
•Good communication skills.
•Good math and typing skills; ability to operate related computer/business equipment and applications.
