Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze engineering software and/or firmware in accordance with MIL-STD-882E, JSSSEH, AOP-52, and other relevant standards.
  • •Review and analyze embedded software code in collaboration with software development teams.
  • •Support software analyses and participate in execution of the Software System Safety Program.
  • •Collaborate with Program Management and government approval authorities from program startup through deployment to gain concurrence with software builds.
  • •Assist with preparation of safety assessment reports and safety program briefs; participate in software safety technical reviews and interpret system requirements and military standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in a STEM field and a minimum 2 years of relevant engineering, statistics, or data analysis experience.
  • •Experience with Computer Science, Safety Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical or Firmware Engineering.
  • •Ability to analyze engineering software and/or firmware to applicable safety standards (MIL-STD-882E, etc.).
  • •Experience working with embedded software code review and analysis.
