Key Responsibilities

  • •Install the telematics system and devices on vehicles, construction/heavy equipment, and customer assets
  • •Operate machinery as needed during installation for testing
  • •Remove and replace ignition systems and integrate keypad-to-telematics communication
  • •Complete installation scenarios including complex wiring harness work when accessing CAN network
  • •Travel to client sites and EquipmentShare rental yards through the region; troubleshoot and advocate for the EquipmentShare platform while on the job

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certificate preferred
  • •Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools, with strong attention to detail
  • •Experience in a related field (e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer) and willingness to learn (telematics training provided)
  • •Ability to drive and maneuver in tight spaces, bend/squat, walk long distances, and lift 25+ lb
  • •Open to traveling within a 250-mile radius of the local branch for up to a week at a time, with a clean driving record and ability to pass background check/drug screen
