Job Summary

Roadway Lighting Engineers and Designers collaborate on highway lighting projects across the southern US, from junior to senior levels. You’ll develop lighting design packages, lead tasks, and use AGi32, Visual Lighting Design, MicroStation, and OpenRoads to ensure safe, cost-effective roadway illumination on mega-projects and DOT-sponsored projects. Job Function: Design (Product/UX/UI/Visual)

Key Responsibilities

•Assist with developing roadway lighting design packages for highway improvement projects
•Serve as Task Lead or Subject Matter Expert on projects
•Collaborate with teams on alternative delivery projects and mega-projects
•Utilize AGi32 or Visual Lighting Design software, as well as MicroStation & OpenRoads, to produce designs
•Support CAD Designers and contribute to project execution in a hybrid work environment

Key Requirements

•BS degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience for CAD Designers; BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency for Junior Engineers; BS in Engineering + 6 years for Mid-Level Engineers; BS in Engineering + 10 years for Senior Level Engineers/Task Leads.
•Preferred Qualifications: EIT Certification or PE License; Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; State DOT experience
