Job Summary

Maintain CarMax’s used-vehicle inventory by receiving and securing shipped vehicles, preparing transfer title packets, and keeping lot areas clean and organized. Perform merchandising and photo uploads for carmax.com listings, and prep vehicles for customer returns and loaners. Safely drive vehicles on and off the lot for repairs, storage, and auction support while following Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain accurate inventory by following CarMax inventory processes.
•Receive and secure vehicles shipped to CarMax and prepare title packets for transfers.
•Perform lot maintenance and merchandising to keep display areas clean and organized.
•Prep vehicles for customer returns and loaners, including washing and vacuuming.
•Execute the photo station process for carmax.com listings and drive vehicles on/off the lot for repairs, storage, and auction support.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 19.43 - 27.09 hourly

Key Requirements

•Valid driver’s license and ability to meet CarMax driving standards.
•High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred.
•Ability to read, interpret, and accurately transcribe data for inventory records.
•Completion of Inventory Associate workstation certifications and assigned trainings.
•Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and work in indoor and outdoor environments.
