Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide general support and advice across mechanical and electrical services.
  • •Prepare design brief documents for mechanical and electrical services and evaluate contractor design proposals and specifications.
  • •Carry out cost analyses, interpret engineering drawings/specifications, and measure/take off quantities for MEP elements.
  • •Administer pre and post contract work, including assessing variation orders, preparing interim valuations, cost plans, and budget studies.
  • •Compile contract documents and manage payments by valuing completed work, assessing interim payment applications and final accounts while liaising with clients and attending onsite/conference meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services Engineering from a recognized university.
  • •At least 8 years postgraduate experience in design, supervision, project management, cost estimating, tendering, and pre/post-contract administration for mechanical or electrical disciplines.
  • •Responsible, self-motivated, and enthusiastic.
  • •Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • •Good communication and written skills in English; Building/Quantity Surveying degree holders familiar with mechanical and electrical building services may be considered.
