Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end architecture for the AWS Quick customization layer, including connectors, agent orchestration, knowledge ingestion, service boundaries, and infrastructure as code.
  • •Define MCP strategy for enterprise integrations (tool contracts, governance, authentication/authorization, and safety boundaries) and own technical direction for the AI Artifact Hub.
  • •Lead AI platform engineering and quality: evaluation approach, automated regression tests, measurable acceptance criteria, HITL feedback, and retrieval/knowledge design.
  • •Set production reliability standards for AI-enabled integrations, including monitoring/observability, graceful degradation, incident response, and failure/recovery patterns.
  • •Provide hands-on technical leadership: lead design reviews, pair with engineers on hardest problems, and guide Python implementation through review, debugging, and targeted contributions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 10 years’ experience in a related field (or equivalent combination such as a master’s degree with 8 years, Ph.D. with 5 years, or 22 years).
  • •10+ years of experience across the software development life cycle, architecture, and platform delivery.
  • •Strong experience designing and delivering cloud-native platforms on AWS (compute, storage, networking, IAM, observability, infrastructure automation).
  • •Strong software engineering fundamentals and working proficiency in Python for designing, reviewing, debugging, and contributing to Python-based connectors, pipelines, and tooling.
  • •Experience designing, building, or operating AI/ML-powered systems (e.g., RAG, knowledge retrieval, agent-based architectures) and defining evaluation/quality approaches (regression testing, measurable acceptance criteria, HITL).
