Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and evolve ClickHouse’s Python connector and SDK ecosystem, improving performance, reliability, and API design.
  • •Drive AI/LLM integration strategy by designing connectors and patterns for RAG architectures, ML feature pipelines, and LLM-powered data applications.
  • •Lead architecture, performance, and feature direction across the AI & LLM ecosystem integrations.
  • •Engage with the open-source community: triage issues, support contributors, and shape the roadmap based on feedback.
  • •Collaborate with Product, Cloud, and engineering teams to align integration work with broader platform priorities.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of software development experience, including hands-on work as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer.
  • •Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining production-grade Python connectors/SDKs/integrations for a major platform (orchestration, BI, MLOps, or data transformation).
  • •Hands-on AI/ML experience in production data-engineering contexts such as embedding generation, vector search, feature pipelines, or LLM-powered tooling shipped in production.
  • •Strong Python data ecosystem experience: Pandas, NumPy, Pydantic, and related libraries.
  • •Strong database fundamentals: SQL, data modeling, query optimization, and familiarity with OLAP/analytical databases; plus concurrent Python (threading, multiprocessing, async).
