Job Summary

Lead the design and optimisation of embedded systems for connected electronic products, setting robust BLE/Wi‑Fi integration and guiding JDM suppliers’ software delivery. Partner with hardware teams on MCU selection, contribute to DFMEA, and define software safety and security requirements (authentication, encryption, secure boot, OTA). Own software architecture documentation, review designs and code quality, and continually improve practices from concept through production.

•Define and document software requirements and software architecture for embedded systems.
•Collaborate with hardware teams to select MCUs and perform system-level hardware/software co-design.
•Participate in DFMEA and define software safety requirements to engineer safety-focused designs.
•Define software security requirements and develop secure software architecture and designs (authentication, encryption, secure boot, OTA).
•Integrate BLE/Wi‑Fi connectivity and secure cloud communication; lead design reviews and validate supplier-developed software compliance.

•Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, telecommunication, or computer engineering (or equivalent).
•8+ years in embedded systems software development, including requirements analysis, design, coding, and testing.
•3 years as a software architect.
•Advanced proficiency in C, C++, UML, RTOS, and/or embedded Linux.
•Experience defining embedded software safety/security requirements and designing secure architectures (e.g., authentication, encryption, secure boot, OTA updates).
