Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, maintain, and manage project budgets, cost plans, and control frameworks.
  • •Establish cost baselines and monitor performance against approved budgets and control accounts.
  • •Develop and maintain WBS and CBS to support accurate cost collection, tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
  • •Lead project change management and change control, assessing cost and financial impacts and potential change orders.
  • •Monitor expenditures, commitments, accruals, and actual costs; use EVM (CPI/SPI) to analyze variances and produce regular cost reports and forecasts.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years post-graduate experience in a similar cost controller role, or current experience in comparable responsibilities.
  • •8-10 years progressive experience in cost control and project controls.
  • •Experience supporting large-scale capital projects in Energy/Oil & Gas, Mining, Infrastructure, Utilities, Manufacturing, Construction, or Industrial sectors.
  • •Demonstrated ability managing multi-million and/or billion-dollar project budgets and forecasts.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Construction Management, or related fields; professional certifications are an asset.
