Job Summary

Field-based technical support role serving Skydio customers with onsite and remote diagnostics, firmware troubleshooting, and cloud/network optimization. You’ll work with product, engineering and support teams, travel regionally in the Northwest US, and help ensure pilots stay flying by resolving flight and data issues and feeding product improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as the product specialist liaison between Skydio and customers by proactively responding to advanced technical support questions.
•Be a technical product knowledge resource to training and content teams, helping improve customer self-help and documentation.
•Collaborate with Product and Cloud Operations to become an expert on Skydio’s products and roadmap, ensuring customer needs are reflected in enhancements.
•Develop field support processes to accelerate escalation and debugging workflows.
•Reduce technical escalations by implementing effective triage and resolution techniques.

Travel: High travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100,000 - 125,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Minimum of 3 years of civilian or military UAS operations and flight experience.
•Experience in military or civilian operational, technical, or customer-facing success or field support roles.
•Ability and willingness to occasionally work flexible hours, including after-hours and weekend support on rotation or as-needed basis.
•Strong interpersonal and written communication skills; proactive and self-motivated.
•Proficient in onsite real-time technical troubleshooting, triage and escalation workflows; CRM experience (Salesforce/Jira) is a plus.
