Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and schedule outbound loads and coordinate with sales and production
  • •Determine proper loading order and product placement
  • •Verify shipping documents and record discrepancies
  • •Set up loads for shipment with common carriers and coordinate routing, dispatch, and delivery instructions
  • •Ensure all paperwork meets UFP and DOT regulations; document shortages, trace/expedite orders, and maintain shipment records

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum high school diploma/GED
  • •At least 6 months of shipping and receiving experience (or related area)
  • •Working knowledge of DOT concepts, regulations, practices, and procedures
  • •Working knowledge of proper loading techniques, weight limitations, and company procedures
  • •Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook; successful completion of forklift driver licensing process
