Heavy Equipment Operator

Transport bulk scrap commodities safely and efficiently to and from barges, railcars, trucks, and storage facilities. Operate construction trucks (up to approximately 100 tons), perform routine pre-operation inspections, and carry out approved maintenance, fueling, and lubrication. Follow loading, travel, dumping, startup/shutdown, and lockout procedures, maintain the vehicle’s cleanliness, and promptly support customer service requests in coordination with supervision and policies.
