Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and operate heating and cooling systems within the plant
  • •Read gauges and adjust valves, controls, and pumps to control fluid levels, pressure, and temperature
  • •Dismantle malfunctioning systems and test components; replace or adjust defective parts
  • •Perform daily rounds and log readings; enter information into databases or software programs
  • •Electrical trouble shooting / control circuits equipment operation / control set up / panel operating

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED; prior experience in Refrigeration systems or equivalent technical education
  • •Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence
  • •Be able to complete RETA Operator 1 Certification within two years; RETA certifications in CARO, CIRO, and CRST are a plus
  • •TIG welding, MIG welding, and gas welding experience
  • •Electrical trouble shooting / control circuits equipment operation / control setup / panel operating
