Key Responsibilities

  • •Support Sika materials and application strategy to meet customer requirements and secure new business opportunities.
  • •Manage project timelines from award through 90 days post-launch and facilitate resolution of resource issues with program management.
  • •Review customer material and test specifications to ensure product conformance, and drive design reviews and drawing releases per procedures.
  • •Assume project team leadership to bring parts to production, manage DFMEA/DVP&R activities, and ensure design verification with customer validation.
  • •Initiate, update, and maintain PLM project space; manage engineering changes through manufacturing implementation and maintain tooling budget and related actions.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering.
  • •1-3 years of application engineering or Program Management, preferably in the Automotive Industry.
  • •Experience launching new parts and engineering changes for JOEMs, including Toyota and Honda.
  • •Proficiency with MS Office and project management software.
  • •Preferred: ability to speak Japanese and read/interpret technical communications.
