Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish, place, and manage contracting arrangements with suppliers to meet cost, schedule, quality, safety, and commercial requirements.
  • •Manage complex, high-risk, high-change contracts and support the development of contract cost control and performance measures.
  • •Develop supplier sourcing strategies, lead supplier evaluation processes, and lead supplier negotiations to finalise supplier agreements.
  • •Assess contract and supplier risk and opportunity, monitor supplier performance against programme milestones, and drive recovery plans and non-conformance resolution.
  • •Coordinate subcontractor interfaces across multiple disciplines and facilitate effective working relationships with Operations and key stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree-qualified in a relevant field (engineering, commercial, business, supply chain, or related disciplines preferred).
  • •Proven operational experience managing long-term contracts in defence, construction, engineering, or other complex environments.
  • •Strong contract management skills including administration, performance management, dispute resolution, and contractual compliance.
  • •Demonstrated procurement and supply chain experience in defence, construction, engineering, or other highly regulated industries.
  • •Ability to mentor and develop junior team members and build high-level relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
