Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead BS&C Simultaneous Engineering Teams across program phases from concept, architecture, and design through industrialization, launch, and post-SOP.
  • •Own integrated program plans, critical paths, milestones, and risk mitigation for closures systems content.
  • •Drive execution to aggressive targets for cost, timing, quality, and mass; run program forums and SET reviews to align design maturity and build readiness.
  • •Manage engineering change management to clearly control scope, cost, and timing impacts.
  • •Partner across Vehicle Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, NPI, Quality, and Operations as the single point of accountability for program status, risks, and recovery plans.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven ability to independently start and lead complex automotive programs, delivering at least one full vehicle or major subsystem through SOP.
  • •5+ years of relevant experience with strong hands-on knowledge of closures systems (mechanisms, sealing systems, hinges, trim, and associated injection-molded/plastic components).
  • •Strong program planning and tracking skills using MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent (Jira a plus).
  • •Solid understanding of vehicle development, design release, tooling, manufacturing readiness, and launch.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (Master’s or PhD preferred).
