Job Summary

Deliver heavy equipment safely and on schedule from EquipmentShare’s rental facility, operating vehicles in line with state and federal transportation laws. Maneuver trucks and trailers into loading and unloading areas, assist with loading/unloading, and maintain required shipping paperwork. Support basic routine truck service tasks and report maintenance issues. Work Monday–Friday with overtime after 40 hours and possible on-call scheduling with additional compensation.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
•Transport loads safely and timely over required routes while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
•Maneuver trucks and trailers into loading and unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
•Assist with loading and unloading using specialized equipment when warranted, and return equipment to designated areas.
•Maintain required delivery paperwork (invoices and bills of lading) and facilitate routine truck service as needed, reporting maintenance issues to the supervisor.

Key Requirements

•Must hold either a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or a chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle to be operated.
•Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state DOT regulations.
•Must pass a DOT physical (trucks driven are over 10k lbs).
•Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.
•Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds at a time.
