Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead day-to-day administration of a portfolio of corporate and personal insolvency appointments from commencement to completion.
  • •Develop and implement case strategy, ensuring efficient progression and complete, accurate case files aligned with firm procedures.
  • •Oversee statutory lodgements and ensure compliance with statutory deadlines under the Australian insolvency framework.
  • •Prepare and review reports to creditors and stakeholders, lead creditor/stakeholder meetings, and manage sensitive correspondence and queries.
  • •Supervise teams and investigative/asset realisation workstreams, including investigations into antecedent/voidable transactions, adjudication of creditor claims, and asset recovery.

Key Requirements

  • •Approximately 6 to 10 years of corporate and personal insolvency experience in a specialist insolvency practice or accounting firm.
  • •Independently manage the lifecycle of corporate and personal insolvency appointments, including medium and complex matters.
  • •Strong knowledge of key statutory requirements, reporting obligations, and compliance deadlines under the Australian insolvency framework.
  • •Ability to lead a portfolio of engagements, manage competing deadlines, and allocate resources effectively.
  • •Experience supervising, mentoring, and developing junior staff, including reviewing work and providing feedback.
