Key Responsibilities

  • •Anticipate, analyze, and solve complex technical problems escalated from first line support or the customer, including in-fab support as needed.
  • •Perform independent diagnostics and troubleshooting within primary competency and under supervision for cross-competencies; lead problem analysis and approach.
  • •Advise customer technical personnel and first line support, use tools and replace parts, improve settings, and execute repairs including non-routine service actions.
  • •Plan and execute complex procedures by negotiating machine time windows, arranging parts/tools/equipment/info, adapting decisions during execution to achieve optimal results.
  • •Train and coach first line engineers, peers, and junior engineers; transfer knowledge through continuous exchange (incl. NPI) and share diagnostic best-known methods.

Key Requirements

  • •BS degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering) with substantial work experience, or comparable thinking; semiconductor industry experience required.
  • •Specialized knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics, or electronics, and semiconductor processes, plus relevant software.
  • •Experience using computer applications including data analysis tools, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
  • •Mature knowledge of primary competency and specialized cross-competency knowledge of main/sub modules and product functionality.
