Underwriting Manager

Manage underwriting decisions for a pipeline of conventional and government residential mortgage loans, ensuring workflow adherence, service levels, productivity benchmarks, and credit quality. Lead reporting and performance measurement for the underwriting department, monitor compliance with state and federal regulations, and maintain underwriting guidelines. Provide coaching, evaluation, and training for staff, while reviewing exception reports and supporting continuous improvements in customer service and risk management.
