Key Responsibilities

  • •Translate ambiguous business problems into well-defined ML/DS problems, including knowing when ML is not the right answer.
  • •Set technical direction for ML initiatives, making build-vs-buy and ML-vs-heuristic/model-architecture decisions based on cost, latency, complexity, and business impact.
  • •Own ML systems end-to-end in production: data ingestion, training, serving, monitoring, retraining, and rollback, anticipating failure modes like data drift and cold start.
  • •Build and ship services, APIs, and integrations around models to deliver ML-powered features for users.
  • •Define and defend metrics (offline evaluation, online A/B tests, and long-term KPIs) and partner with product, design, and business stakeholders to drive roadmap decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years working as an ML/AI engineer.
  • •Hands-on experience owning ML systems end-to-end in production environments.
  • •Experience building and scaling ML-powered products from early development to large-scale production use with strong ownership and reliability focus.
  • •Fluent use of AI coding assistants and LLM-based tools (Claude Code, Copilot, or equivalent).
  • •Experience with Python and SQL, plus a cloud data warehouse (BigQuery preferred) and public cloud (GCP preferred).
