Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage employees and first-level managers performing launch systems engineering and technical activities.
  • •Develop and execute integrated departmental plans, policies, procedures, and input on business/technical strategies and goals.
  • •Acquire resources, provide technical management of suppliers, and lead process improvements.
  • •Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes; develop and grow the Launch Systems Integration division within GS&O.
  • •Lead communication with engineering teams, establish technical standards and an interview process, and implement staffing and cross-team training/collaboration while mentoring direct reports.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 10 years of experience as an engineering professional, with experience in functional or project management in the aerospace defense industry.
  • •Experience as a Responsible Engineering Authority (REA), Project Lead, and/or functional manager in launch systems development.
  • •Demonstrated experience and knowledge designing, building, delivering, and validating launch systems.
  • •Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility (active within the past 24 months).
  • •Experience serving in leadership roles and familiarity with Launch Systems Integration responsibilities per AS9100.
