Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide specialist technical consultancy and design services for ITS, Smart Cities, Mobility solutions, and C-ITS proposals and delivery.
  • •Act as a technology scout by staying current on new developments, technologies, and skills across the ITS/CAV/smart cities space.
  • •Lead research, data analysis, and recommendations relative to client needs and future technology direction.
  • •Capture client, stakeholder, system, and user requirements; develop system architecture, design documentation, and technical reports.
  • •Support feasibility and detailed design work, review deliverable quality against client briefs and quality procedures, and help deliver technical leadership across the project lifecycle.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng (or equivalent) in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Maths or Physics.
  • •Experience in a similar role across Smart Cities, Intelligent Transport Systems, Connected and Automated Vehicles, MaaS, or communications network design.
  • •Knowledge of ITS and technologies that contribute to modern transportation.
  • •Knowledge of transport technology market demands, trends, and challenges.
  • •Experience in stakeholder engagement, feasibility/options studies, and working directly with clients.
