Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide project management, technical leadership, and delivery of structural schemes from inception through handover to the client.
  • •Develop innovative and sustainable structural designs for a range of challenging UK and international multi-disciplinary projects.
  • •Take a key technical leadership role through concept and detailed design, coordinating with architects, engineers, and specialist consultants.
  • •Participate in and/or lead tender bids and business development opportunities; agree fees and manage the commercial position on projects.
  • •Mentor and develop junior team members working toward their Chartership, while ensuring technical issues and risks are resolved timely and cost-effectively.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven track record delivering structural design work on major, challenging multi-disciplinary building projects, especially concept and project inception stages.
  • •Project management and technical delivery leadership experience for medium to large schemes.
  • •Significant experience managing the commercial and technical aspects of projects using appropriate business tools.
  • •Significant experience with team management responsibilities, including line management and day-to-day operations.
  • •Degree or HNC/HND in a relevant discipline and Chartered status (MIStructE / MICE), with solid structural engineering design experience and knowledge of national codes and standards.
