Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and oversee the preparation, review, and filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns across multiple states and jurisdictions.
  • •Manage compliance for business licenses, including BPOL, with processes for applications, renewals, and guidance to avoid unnecessary registrations.
  • •Oversee property tax compliance: calculate, prepare, and file returns; review assessments and coordinate with local authorities; ensure timely payments.
  • •Support income tax focus by gathering and analyzing financial data for federal, state, and local income tax returns, including franchise tax filings and state apportionment calculations.
  • •Handle tax audits and compliance reporting, including preparing provisions/reconciliations, monitoring regulatory updates, and driving process improvements using automation and technology.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • •5-7 years of progressive tax experience, including supervisory or management experience.

  • •Experience with income tax compliance and provisions is a plus.
