Job Summary

Lead IT operations for Germany and Italy as part of a European team, ensuring excellent on-site support and IT service delivery. Own system availability, major incident driving, severity management, issue resolution, and operational integrity across sites. Manage a team of on-site support engineers, oversee workplace infrastructure, performance monitoring, vendor and OPEX handling, and deliver improvement projects and Agile product ownership for local and European initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage BU workplace and local IT infrastructure services not managed centrally by delivery teams.
•Monitor IT service and performance (service impact, print costs, ticket SLA performance) and maintain operational integrity across BU/country.
•Drive major incidents and severity management, including RCA communication, problem management, and improvement implementations.
•Provide support and escalation to engineers on remote sites to remove blockers and support employees.
•Act as Product Owner in the Agile process for local and Europe-wide initiatives, while handling vendor management and OPEX for IT services/equipment.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in Information Technology Operations.
•Experience managing and communicating with leadership (Manager and Director level) and influencing service providers and stakeholders.
•Practical knowledge across IT operations areas such as Service Desk, IT workplace, SAP applications, networks, and printing.
•Good understanding of project and service management processes.
•Fluency in English and German, with flexibility to support major incidents outside core hours.
