Key Responsibilities

  • •Advocate for Banc of California Merchant Services across multiple banking lines and educate bankers on merchant services capabilities and value propositions.
  • •Act as the day-to-day liaison with vendor sales leadership, onboarding and educating vendor representatives and coordinating introductions and joint calling strategies.
  • •Partner to identify merchant services opportunities in existing portfolios and develop targeted sales campaigns by geography, segment, and industry.
  • •Track referrals and performance metrics (conversion rates, pipeline aging, activation, processing volume) and recommend corrective actions for barriers.
  • •Serve as primary escalation resource for bankers on merchant services issues, coordinating internal and vendor resources while maintaining risk/compliance controls.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, economics, or related field (or equivalent education and experience).
  • •5+ years of experience in merchant acquiring, payments, treasury management, commercial banking, financial services sales, sales enablement, or related work.
  • •Strong understanding of merchant acquiring and payment acceptance (card-present, ecommerce, omnichannel, integrated payments).
  • •Proven ability to develop trusted relationships with bankers, sales professionals, partners, and senior stakeholders.
  • •Ability to translate payment capabilities into clear value propositions and manage complex opportunities across internal and external stakeholders.
