Troubleshoot, service, and repair PLC-driven automation and robotic equipment to keep manufacturing operations safe, reliable, and efficient. You’ll connect and troubleshoot PLC and drive platforms, perform root-cause problem solving, calibrate process controls, configure PID temperature systems, and support OEMs. The role also includes training maintenance technicians, reducing automation-related production losses, maintaining electrical documentation with AutoCAD 2D, and partnering on capital projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Follow all plant and department safety rules, procedures, and PPE requirements, and escalate/address safety concerns.
•Connect to and troubleshoot PLC and drive platforms; perform advanced troubleshooting using root cause and rapid problem-solving techniques.
•Calibrate process controls including E/P devices, load cells, and sensors; configure and adjust PID temperature control systems.
•Identify production losses related to automation systems, communicate corrective actions, and train/mentor maintenance technicians and trainees.
•Work with OEMs to support equipment functionality, setup, and optimization; update electrical prints/redlines in AutoCAD 2D and develop electrical procedures/technical documentation.

Key Requirements

•Associate's degree in Electro-Mechanical, Industrial Automation, or Journeyman with E&I.
•Working knowledge of plant equipment and preventive maintenance techniques, plus mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
•Ability to read blueprints and schematics and use hand tools, multi-meters, and oscilloscopes.
•PLC programming experience using Allen Bradley and Siemens platforms.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to prioritize and work effectively in a team environment.
