Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, execute, and evaluate complex lab trials to develop and optimize cementitious flooring screed compounds.
  • •Create formulations by selecting and adjusting binders, fillers, and additives, and qualify new raw materials for integration into existing recipes.
  • •Conduct and further develop physical, mechanical, and rheological testing methods.
  • •Analyze and interpret measurement data to derive technical improvements and optimization measures, including DoE approaches and AI-supported tools.
  • •Support defined development projects with documentation, reporting, and result presentations; assist with scale-up trials and technical production start-ups for new or improved recipes.

Key Requirements

  • •Completed training as construction materials tester / chemistry lab assistant / materials testing technician or comparable technical qualification, ideally with further training (e.g., technician/master) or several years of lab experience.
  • •Deep understanding of cementitious building material systems, hydraulic binders, additives, and fillers, ideally from mortar/flooring/soil technology domains.
  • •Routine with modern lab and testing equipment, including data evaluation and documentation methods.
  • •Ability to analyze complex technical contexts and develop independent solutions.
  • •Ideally experience with machine application methods or electronic sensors; high autonomy and initiative; good English skills (written and spoken).
