Key Responsibilities

  • •Shape the technical vision and own/update the process technology roadmap for NAND structural and electrical film processes aligned to business objectives and competitive benchmarks.
  • •Lead engineering-group programs to deliver innovative breakthroughs and solve the most challenging technical problems using RCA/resolution.
  • •Represent Micron through external collaborations, consortia, conferences, and collaborative research initiatives.
  • •Develop strategies for cost savings, process efficiency, and large-scale yield enhancement; assess technical risks and investment priorities.
  • •Prepare high-impact technical presentations, white papers, and patent filings and initiate strategic collaborations with external partners (universities/research institutes).

Key Requirements

  • •PhD with 15+ years or Master’s with 17+ years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
  • •Extensive Thin Films R&D/PD experience in NAND, including Diffusion/CVD dielectric and carbon-based films.
  • •Industry-recognized innovation leadership with patents, publications, invited talks, and technical committee/consortia leadership roles.
  • •Mastery of ALD/CVD (plasma and thermal) processes and pioneering new deposition methods/materials/integration strategies for NAND scaling.
  • •Deep expertise in reliability modeling, process-device correlation frameworks, and advanced failure analysis across technology generations.
