Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver physical design from netlist to GDSII and support flow development for NVIDIA chips (including GeForce/Tegra/Tesla/Quadro).
  • •Perform floorplanning from top level to block level.
  • •Design power/clock distribution and execute placement and routing from top to block level.
  • •Run timing/power/noise/DFM optimization and analysis; support chip assembly and physical verification.
  • •Automate flows with regression testing; collaborate with EDA vendors on tool evaluation/improvement and develop in-house tools.

Key Requirements

  • •MS in Microelectronics, EE, CS, or a related major.
  • •Coursework in IC design or digital circuit design.
  • •Knowledge of chip design and Place&Route.
  • •Project experience in IC design or ASIC design.
  • •Hands-on experience with EDA tools (Place&Route, physical design, timing analysis, circuit simulation, or layout) and scripting.
